‘Project Giant Robot’ Project Scrapped By Nintendo

Two years ago, Nintendo announced the ‘Project Giant Robot’ for the Wii U but sadly has pulled the plug on development of the game.

There have been a few games that have been released this year that have had long delays in being released (Final Fantasy XV, The Last Guardian) but still made it to the shelves. Sadly, Nintendo couldn’t manage the same with PGR. The game, which had players controlling  a giant robot (you don’t say?) was announced dead.

Nintendo announced in January that Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be the last of its games developed for the Wii U. The company is now focusing all its efforts on the upcoming Nintendo Switch. It has created a brand new trailer to air during the Super Bowl game and is planning to release it on March 3.

Were you looking forward for Project Giant Robot? Are you upset it’s scrapped?
